It’s always exciting when a fellow wedding photographer wants to work with you. A mixture of nerves & honour.
It was such a pleasure photographing Gail and her partner David, a videographer himself. We met up in one of the city’s hidden gems, the quirky Elder Farm in Govan. A fusion of concrete and plants, this place has become something of a haven for me the last year. It’s been a joy to see this space grow and prosper over summer, filling up all it’s nooks & crannies with edible treats & pretty blooms. I knew I had to do a shoot here before too much of the cold weather settled in.
The sun was exceptionally bright that morning, delivering with it harsh light (normally something I try to avoid as a photographer). However, on this occasion, I decided to embrace it. Seeing this as an opportunity to experiment & get out of my comfort zone.
This is what we created;
